Naming Opportunities
Guidelines
Over the years, many friends of NIACC have chosen to provide assistance to the College and students through a contribution for a named fund or facility. A named gift opportunity sends a strong message to our students and people living in NIACC’s service area that an individual, business, or organization has loaned their name to the College’s effort to provide quality, accessible education and training to all who can benefit from our programs and services. Naming can occur in recognition of gifts of treasure, time, talent and commitment to and in support of NIACC. At the present time, over 100 endowed scholarship funds honor donors and the following Centers have been named after donors:
- Muse-Norris Conference Center
- Murphy Manufacturing Technology Center
- John Pappajohn Business and Entrepreneurial Center
We invite you to consider the wide variety of opportunities and help the College address current needs and prepare for the challenges of the next century. You are also encouraged to work with the Foundation and College to create other naming opportunities that might be more closely aligned with your special areas of interest. All facility naming opportunities are subject to NIACC College Board approval and while these are guidelines; we welcome the opportunity to work with you directly to meet your particular interests, contribution level and timing. Please give us a call if you have an interest in reviewing the options in greater detail or planning your gift to help NIACC.
