Employer
- Communicates needs
- Works with college to determine program occupation details
- Provides curriculum and course input
- Selects and hires apprentices
- Provides paid on-the-job training with a mentor
- May offer apprentices full-time employment after graduation and completion of the Registered Apprenticeship program
Student
- Formal application to the Registered Apprenticeship Program
- Actively completes college coursework while working part-time
- Graduates from college and maintains paid apprenticeship until program completion
- Earns academic certificate or degree from college
- Potentially is hired full-time
