The North Iowa Behavioral Healthcare Summit is designed to increase public and professional awareness of behavioral health issues affecting individuals, families, and the communities they live in and to reduce the impact of stigma that serves as a barrier to effective treatment and intervention.

Audience: Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, EMS, Social Workers, Bachelors and Master Level Mental Health Professionals and Certified Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselors and other health care providers interested in the care of patients with behavioral health issues.

NIACC is Iowa Board of Nursing Provider #3 and State Department of Health Emergency Medical services approved sponsor #2 of continuing education programs for EMS Personnel.
