Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the distributive control (DCS) and programmable logic control (PLC) systems in the alcohol plant. This includes programming, maintenance (backups, upgrades, contractor work to system, etc.), troubleshooting, and other related activities. This position will report to the plant manager and work closely with plant management, maintenance, and operations developing sequences to run equipment, control plant operations, and optimize process operation. This position has a non-contributory retirement account (aka pension), 401K with 50 % match, medical, dental, eye health programs, clothing allowance of $500 / year. All tools are supplied and equipment to allow remote access during off shifts. Training will be provided internally and from external contractors and entities as needed.
