Job Responsibilities: A Helping Hand caregivers are, above all, compassionate, dependable, self-directed, trustworthy and scrupulously conscientious in providing in-home care for the elderly or disabled. The services our team of caregivers provides allow people to remain safely in the familiarity of their own homes, contributing to the well-being and positive quality of life for clients and their families.

In-Home Caregivers provide companionship, household assistance and personal care to AHHHC clients as needed. Deliver daily client reports promptly, including any observed changes, needs, requests or questions. Weekly hours are very flexible and may fluctuate depending on your availability and client needs – you can choose to work as many or few hours as you want! Because our clients need daily help, we ask our caregivers to be available to work some hours every other weekend. Candidates must be 17+ with a valid driver’s license and a reliable registered vehicle. Mileage paid for travel to clients outside Mason City. Experience with in-home care, elder care or CNA a plus, but not required. Must also have a smartphone and ability to communicate with admins, request time off, check weekly client shift schedule and deliver reports via apps.

Pay Range: $15-17/hour
