All NIACC classes will use the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Canvas provides access to course materials and resources as well as a variety of course assessments. Within a course, students may be redirected to some publisher resources including MyMath Lab and other publisher web sites (some requiring access codes).

NIACC online courses have a section number starting with a ‘W’ such as BIO-102-W001.
NIACC hybrid courses have a section number starting with a ‘H’ such as BIO-102-H001. A hybrid course meets face-to-face in the classroom part of the time and part of the course assignments are done online in Canvas.

Access to Online courses

To access Canvas courses, login to TrojanHome, then click the link to Canvas (normally on the left side of the screen but may be in a different location depending on your screen size or mobile device). If you are not registered for a course, using Canvas you will not be able to access those course sites. Access to courses within Canvas begin on the course start date, and end on the course end date. Please contact your instructor for additional information before starting any coursework.
