The North Iowa Diversity Appreciation Team (NIDAT) and North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) have partnered together to help promote diversity throughout the community. We asked local students, K-12, to send in pieces (poems, short fiction, or non-fiction writing, or visual art pieces) that express what diversity means to them. The art or writing piece reflect diversity or multiculturalism in the community where all individuals are recognized, valued, and respected.
