Job Responsibilities: 2nd Shift Tool & Die Maker
Design, build, maintain and repair dies, fixtures and templates according to die specifications.
• Analyze design and/or repair requests prior to taking action to fully understand needed action, design and equipment
• Operate all tool room machinery (mills, drills, grinders and lathe)
• Design and build tooling to produce sheet metal parts from piece part prints
• Design and build fixtures for welding and other plant areas
• Stick, tig, and gas weld die blocks and fixtures
• Locate and use all necessary measuring equipment and spare parts
• Operate all piece part, from dies, and transfer equipment in operation
• Measure and validate parts made from tools and fixtures made in tool room
• Perform basic mathematical calculations
• Perform heat treat operations on various tool steels
• Maintain and repair existing tooling
• General department clean-up
• Observe all safety practices & be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate hoist
Overtime is paid after 8 hours and on Saturdays
Medical, dental, vision and 401K after one month of service.
Requirements
Two-Year Tool & Die Certification/Degree from vocational college
Pay Range: $24.62-$32.48.
Wages start at $24.62 with an $.80/hour shift premium and increases every 30 works days until you reach top pay of $32.48

Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. May work until midnight or 1:00 am, when working a 9 or 10 hour shift.
