Job Responsibilities: Coordinates and organizes the nurse’s station. Administers and assists in the planning and implementing of nursing care for patients. Functions with the State of Iowa Board of Nursing Standards for the Licensed Practical Nurse. Functions under the supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse.
Responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical-surgical and emergency patients ensuring safe, quality and continuity of care is maintained under the supervision of the charge nurse. Care of all types of patients on assigned unit, while maintaining professional nursing standards.
