Job Responsibilities: DESCRIPTION:
Assist providers in care of clinic patients and with diagnostic and treatment procedures. Perform in house laboratory tests, venipuncture blood draws, and administer immunizations and injections. Maintain accuracy of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and perform other nursing duties as requested by the providers or other clinic staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of Nursing Program, Knowledge of IRIS System, 1 year of medical office experience desired, Computer and Internet experience required, Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities in person, on the phone, or through electronic messaging.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to assist patient’s in/out of wheelchairs, on/off the scale, and on/off the exam tables, Able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the day, Able to lift up to 30 lbs
Exposure to infectious diseases are frequent. Must be able to abide by OSHA Standards and CDC requirements.
