Job Responsibilities: The lead cook manages food preparation and production following department requirements for quality, quantity, nutrition, and food safety standards.

The Shift:

Days- Monday-Sunday with holidays and weekend rotation.

5:45 am to2:15 with flexibility to cover other shifts. Weekend & Holiday Hours 6:30 am to 7:00 pm

The Pay: Starts at $16.00 per hour, increases with experience. Also, shift differential pay for weekends.

What We Need From You:

Participates with training all new employees, giving input as needed.
Checks incoming merchandise and assures its storage in absence of the Director of Food & Nutrition.
Assists in process improvement activities.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent certificate.

Successful completion of self-study, Simplified Diet Manual Lessons upon hire.

Successful completion of a food safety and sanitation training/course.

Complete Serve Safe training within one year of hire date and obtain certificate.
