NIACC Family Stem Festival To Be Held on October 12
Bring your whole family to the NIACC (North Iowa Area Community College) Family STEM Festival on Saturday, October 12 from 1 PM to 4 PM at NIACC Campus, 500 College Dr., Mason City, Iowa. Experience FUN activities at this hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) event being held at NIACC. The festival is free and open to the public.
The goals of the festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in STEM activities and to introduce children and parents to STEM careers in their local communities. Exhibits will feature interactive STEM activities for children and their families. Attendees can travel the solar system in a planetarium, ride a virtual roller coaster, conduct amazing science experiments, look inside the human body and much more! Brought to you by North Iowa Area Community College, the Central Rivers AEA, the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
