North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Student Government representatives will be standing outside of HyVee East on November 27, from 2:40-4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, November 29, from 2:40-4:30 p.m. without the benefit of appropriate winter clothing. This annual effort raises awareness and gathers donations for area residents who cannot afford the necessary clothing during the cold winter months.

Please consider stopping by and donating winter clothing in good repair (i.e., functional zippers, no ripped clothing, etc.). Coats, gloves, scarfs, snow suits, and other winter clothing will be accepted.

Donation boxes are also located throughout the NIACC campus; the drive runs through Friday, December 15. Cash donations can be made by contacting Student Government advisor Gary Herrig via email (Gary.Herrig@niacc.edu) or phone (641.422.4418).  Thank you for your donation.
