NIACC Proudly Presents “In Search of the Albino” Film
The 2017-18 Travel and Adventure Film Series continues with “In Search of the Albino” at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12 in Beem Center Room 200, located on the North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) campus. The 2017-18 Travel and Adventure Series is sponsored by NIACC.
This extraordinary film is an extraordinary adventure, exploring the far reaches of North America in search of some of nature’s rarest creatures…Albinos.
Our journey takes us from the wilds of northern Ontario, thru Michigan, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas, Florida, and the Northern Rockies, to the backwaters, swamps and hidden forests.
On the way we immerse ourselves in the fantastic world of nature’s overwhelming variety of creatures. Birds of all kinds…ducks, loons, Kingfishers, Mergansers, both common and rare. Fallow deer, dall sheep, mountain goats, Beluga Whales, egrets are just a few of the countless species we encounter on our search for the real prize…the white moose.
We’re thrilled to join Tom Sterling on this once-in-a lifetime experience…IN SEARCH OF THE ALBINO.
