NIACC Quilting Treasures Bus Trip to feature stops at 10 Minnesota quilt shops
Quilters of all ages are invited to join North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Community Education on a bus trip to Minnesota on Oct. 9 and 10. The Quilting Treasures Bus Trip will depart from the NIACC campus at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 9 and return at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10. The trip will feature stops at 10 quilt shops in Minnesota.
Stops include Old Alley Quilt Shop in Sherburn, Minn.; Prairie Quilting in Windom, Minn.; Spinning Spools Quilt Shop, The Thumble Box and Sewing Seeds Quilt Co. in New Ulm, Minn.; Gathering Friends Quilt Shop in Bird Island, Minn.; Quilt Haven in Hutchinson, Minn.; The Quilting Grounds in Norwood Young America, Minn.; Eagle Creek Quilt shop in Shakopee, Minn.; and Quilting by the Heart in Londsdale, Minn.
Accommodations for the evening of Oct. 9 will be at the Best Western in New Ulm, Minn. The cost of the trip is $179 for a double occupancy room or $219 for a single occupancy room. The cost includes the cost of the trip, snacks, goodies and hotel room with continental breakfast & lunch on Tuesday. Monday noon and evening meals are not included.
